How can I book?

Through my booking form!

Can I get a quote?

Of course, just ask!

I do require the following information before I can give you a rough price:

  • Basic description of tattoo

  • Reference images (1-3, not too many)

  • Rough size (in cm)

  • Placement

Do you do consultations?

Sure do!

However I tend to only do consults for larger more complex pieces or designs that need a lot of changing from your provided references. If it’s something that can be described via email / DM / booking form, we can do a straight-up booking. If a consult is better, I will let you know.

Consults are usually 15 - 20 minutes, give or take, and are free.

I need to cancel / reschedule my appointment -  Is my deposit refundable?

Your deposit is non-refundable, otherwise defeats being a deposit. If you cancel, you loose it.

I require 3 days notice (at the very latest, more is better) if you need to reschedule your appointment. This permits enough time to find replacement work for that day and I will honour your deposit.

Should you cancel or need to reschedule within 3 days of your appointment, please note your deposit will be forfeited and a new one required should you wish to make another appointment in the future.

What methods of payments do you accept?

For the initial deposit, PayPal or bank transfer.

For the balance of the tattoo after it is complete on the day, cash only.

If you can organise to take some cash out before the appointment, that is super appreciated. Otherwise there is a 7-11 next to the studio with an ATM for withdrawals.

Do you take AfterPay / InkPay?

No sorry, all tattoos must be paid at the studio in full.

Will I see my design before the appointment?

If wanting a design on the simpler side, I will show you on the day at your appointment. Small tweaks and adjustments can be made on the day if need be.

For medium - large or custom pieces, I will usually send a week - 3 days before your appointment. Again, changes can be made (although cannot change things indefinitely).

If I have began or completed a design and a new idea is wanted in place of the design booked and discussed, a re-drawing fee may be required to cover my time.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

You want to be fresh, well rested and hydrated for your appointment.

  • Get a good night’s sleep

  • Avoid drinking alcohol 48 hours before (and after) your appointment as this can thin your blood and “spit” the ink out resulting in poor healing

  • Eat a big breakfast

  • Bring snacks (fruits, nuts, sugary gummy candies, juice)

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Bring entertainments (airPods, e/books, download some shows, etc)

  • Bring comfort (pillow or blanket for longer sessions)

  • Bring your ID with you

  • Be prepared for some pain, it’s a tattoo!

  • Relax!

Can I use numbing cream?

I prefer not to use numbing creams as they make the skin difficult to tattoo.

I also find it takes longer, the tattoos don’t come out as bold and saturated, or heal as well. Not to mention most of them don’t work or wear off very quick and need to be re-applied alot, smudging the precious stencil!

If you must use numbing cream, please ask me first and I can recommend some to purchase prior to the appointment.

For larger 6 hour + sessions on delicate areas I may sometimes recommend it as I would prefer that to a moving client!

Can I bring friends and / or family to my appointment?

One or two family members or friends is okay, but please ask first. Other artists working in the studio need to be respected too and quiet is valued for concentration! As welcome as they are, having people around for full day sessions can become very boring for them!

How do I care for my tattoo after?

You can read a detailed overview on tattoo aftercare here.

Are touch-ups free?

Touch-ups are all free!

Just send a message with a photo of the healed tattoo in natural daylight (needs to be a minimum of 4 weeks healed), and we can arrange a time.

Touch-ups are usually quick.

Do you do cover-ups?

I prefer not to but do occasionally.

If wanting a cover-up, a photograph of your existing tattoo will be needed as well as reference images of what you are wanting over it. I may even ask to get you in for a consult to have a better look and chat. I can then determine if a cover-up is possible or if a few laser sessions would be better first.

Can you tattoo over scars?

It depends on what type of scaring. Photographs and maybe an in-person consult might be required to take a better look first. I generally ask to get your doctors advice first.

All scars must be healed.

Any tattoos you don’t do?

I don’t do face or finger tattoos.

With fingers, this is due to them being very very prone to fading (within weeks) and usually requiring multiple touch-ups. In general, they don’t hold up well, hence a lot of artists refusing to do them.

I also work in black and white only, no colour.

Can you copy another artists’s work?

If you have a tattoo ticket / token or written permission, only then can I copy an artist’s work, but probably won’t be exactly the same. Without evidence, I won’t straight-up copy anyone’s work.

Are your inks vegan?

Yes, all my inks are vegan!

I use Dynamic and StarBrite ink (mixed with witch hazel for shading).

Is it okay to get a tattoo if i’m sick?

While you can technically receive a tattoo while sick, it’s recommended to not risk it.

Getting a tattoo while sick can cause you to remain ill for an extended amount of time due to your immune system trying to heal the tattoo instead of the illness. There is also a greater chance of infection, poor healing and some medications (such as antibiotics) can impede the overall healing process.

You will also be subject to more pain and discomfort and will not have a nice time.

Can I get tattooed if I am under 18 years old?

Hard no! It is illegal to get a tattoo under 18 in Victoria, even with parental consent. I will straight up refuse.
